Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 12, 2016 Global Moderator Posted May 12, 2016 Everyone on here probably knows that my dog is with me about everywhere I go. She even goes shopping with me when I go to BPS because they let you bring your dog in. Kills me to think she's already almost 4 years old, seems like I just brought that clumsy puppy home yesterday. I know that day will come way too soon, and I just went through it last year with my old dog that I grew up with who was almost 19 when he had to be put down, it sucks about as bad as anything out there. I guess that just shows how great dogs are, we know that in the next 10 years or so, we're in for some serious heartache, but we keep bringing them home anyways. I feel for you C&G. 3 Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 12, 2016 Super User Posted May 12, 2016 A dog is something special. All love and devotion. Been through it before, as you are doing now. Very sorry for your loss. Just remember that the dog had a great life with you and you have some wonderful memories. This may sound strange, but I still have the ashes of my favorite dog, Cricket, in a Chinese vase in my man-cave. She passed away in 1988. Just can't bring myself to spread them in the yard. Take care and remember that you have many guys and gals supporting you at this time. 2 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted May 12, 2016 Super User Posted May 12, 2016 Sorry for your loss. When my dogs passed it was like losing a sibling, and a best friend, all rolled into one. 1 Quote

And I would be having some fried chicken. Problem is, i dont know which neighbor it was... Theres 3 houses across the street, each one with 4 or 5 families living in it (you know the type)... Nobody will man up, they all just point fingers at each other 2 Quote

Smokinal Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I'm so sorry to hear about Gizmo. Non-pet owners just don't understand that when you have them that long, they really are a member of the family. Time will help you. 1 Quote
