Megastink Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Which are your favorites? Mine are: 1) Bassmaster 2) Bass Quest 3) FLW I'd like to hear what you prefer and why. Quote
Bass Kayak Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I also Like Bassmaster as #1 and is why I am a member. Great for everything Bass Fishing. 2nd is In fisherman so I can keep up on other types of fishing as well. I am looking for a great Catfish magazine. I generally fish 98% of time for Bass and the rest Catfishing. Quote
Hurricane Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I get FLW and in-fisherman. . In-fisherman I like the most because of the fact there are more articles on Smallmouth fishing and the other species they cover... Musky and Pike.. Considering I live 5 miles from Lake Erie... Quote
Ronald K Smith Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 #1 BassMaster #2 FLW #3 In Fisherman what are your thoughts on Bass Angler Magazine? Quote

BaitMonkey1984 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Bassmaster is good but I feel like they don't put out any magazines all year then they fire out a few in January for 3 months, then nothing again for October. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted February 4, 2016 Super User Posted February 4, 2016 Bassmaster and In Fisherman. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 4, 2016 Super User Posted February 4, 2016 I let my subscription to In-fisherman expire, because I thought they were getting repetitive and I remember how it used to be and I was angry at myself for continuing to contribute to sub-standard product. I still take Bassmaster - my primary reason for subscribing to it is probably inertia. Yesterday, I picked up a the newest copy of Bassin at Walmart. Lots of pretty pictures of boats - however much of the text was black print against a bright red background and I found that extremely hard to read - so I didn't. Maybe some day when I improve the lighting next to my Lazy Boy . . . Overall I am not real pleased with the state of over the counter or subscription fishing literature right now. 1 Quote

tander Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 The only mag I read is Bassmaster. I was a member for years and when I started fishing again I started reading it again. Quote
Brent Christian Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Would have to be FLW Bassmasster And IN Fisherman if it has articles about bass fishing.. Quote
Fishinthefish Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Just renewed my bass master subscription in December, it's my wifes gift to me every year so I'd have to go with them or she might kill me. Quote
WI_Angler1989 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 +1 for Bassmaster. I always read (and didn't buy) them from my local bookstore. Always a good time having some coffee and reading some fishing mags. I JUST got my first issue in the mail today too. 1 year and a tackle bag for $10. Not bad. I do love the endless info online but there's something satisfying about a good ole fashioned magazine. Quote
AQUA VELVA Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 BAM is my current favorite. Had a subscription to Bassin' for years but it started to get thin with a lot of advertising and fewer articles that I found useful so I let it go. Quote
