I was wondering whats happening to this division of rapala. On their website they only advertise a panfish series. Have they drop that brand ?

The trigger x plastics don't seem to be all that popular. I tried them a few times with less than stellar results. Not something I would buy again or recommend. It could be possible they aren't selling enough baits?

I've used them...they work...more definitively on walleye than on bass.

Do they work better than other soft plastics on bass?  I've got no objective evidence of that.

I have other non-Trigger X - soft plastics that definitely work better.

Looks like they are going to drop trigger x and come out with a new soft plastic line under the storm division.

The 5" spade Tail Worm was a good bait, it out produced anything else I used when the water was stained. The biggest problem with Trigger X is they seemed to be a little stiffer and not as lively as other soft plastics and that is probably the reason they didn't sell very well.

So did the Lindners switch to Big Bite Baits because Trigger X is being discontinued?  Or is Trigger X being discontinued because the Lindners switched to Big Bite Baits???  Hmmmmm.......

Agree with the stiffness of the baits.  I got a few bags mixed and matched on sale once, and never got around to using them because the plastic just didn't seem that pliable.  When you squeeze them in the bag they have very little give and they just didn't give me any confidence - they had the same stiffness as Gulp, and Gulp is a proven killer for me so I always went that route.  Newer versions seemed to have a different plastic formula where they felt softer, but by then it was too late for me to give them another look.

I was very disappointed to see Rapala drop the Trigger-X Agression series baits for bass and walleye. I have had very good success with with bass with the craw in Muck color.  And the Trigger-X pheromone spray has been a go-to for me on many other soft plastic baits as well. When I found out the Trigger-X line was being discontinued I bought what I could find both in the Flappin Craw and the Slop Hopper and the spray (only have three bottles left of spray and maybe a dozen bags of Flappin Craw). I didn't use a lot of the other Trigger-X baits so I really have no opinion on them but I will miss the pheromone infused Flappin Craw when I finally run out.

I haven't experienced any stiff feeling trigger x products. I've always had good results with trigger x swimming worms. Matter of fact they're the only ribbon tail worms I use. I also love the big moe for night fishing. Guess I need to stock up while supplies last.

I had good luck with the Flappin Craw.  They are, perhaps, a little more firm than some others but I don't like a bait which is too squishy anyway. Maybe I can find a clearance bin full of them.

(Can't speak on the other products).
