bassguytom Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I found a submerged tree with my side scan and there are fish in it. I was throwing a jig and no takers. I put a tube on and landed a 4 lb. bass. I got snagged and lost a lot of tubes. My question is what is the best bait to run through the submerged branches? Tree is in about 15 and runs to about 20 feet of water. Should I T-rig a creature bait or something else? The tube has been killing it for me this year but won't work here. Thanks for the info. Quote
RyanFishing Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Use a Texas rigged tube! They work amazing for deep fishing cover such as trees. 2 Quote

Super User bigbill Posted September 16, 2015 Super User Posted September 16, 2015 I mainly use weedless eagle claw hooks when I can. My wacky rigged senkos, worms, my brushogs. Weeds and Snaggs are no problem. Quote
papajoe222 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Peg that sinker when you T-rig and you can throw just about any soft plastic. 3 Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted September 16, 2015 Super User Posted September 16, 2015 Like others have said, texas rig a pegged tube if that is what has been working for you. Anything texas rigged should work fine. Even a Tex-posed shakeyhead would probably work. Quote
