I've been working on 2 different projects in Boston for almost a year. 12 hour days, long commutes home - home only - getting up at 3:15 AM and missing time to fish is coming to an end soon for this almost 50 y/o body. I hate working in the City with a passion. You land in Boston on your project site and you hit the ground running from the moment you land until you force yourself to go home. Schedules are unrealistic and the inspection process is more cumbersome than ever. Top that off with product coming in from all over the world and the biggest wait for delivery is to get the product through customs. I'm finished with the project now and got occupancy today. But! I'm not done, I'm still waiting for a small portion of the project that doesn't affect occupancy. It's been my longest lead item and it's coming from ... wait ... Pennsylvania, USA! Are you kidding me?! Anyway, rant over...anyone want to fish this fall? I've basically missed fishing this whole year and most of last and I can't wait to start enjoying life again. John Quote

You got it, sounds like a plan. A guy I work with has been fishing Lake X and has been struggling there, I may try and hit that with him this fall as well. Super User Fishing Rhino Posted August 19, 2015 Super User Posted August 19, 2015 Lake "X" is an early season water as far as spectacular fishing goes. After that, it's a hit or miss proposition. At least that's been my experience over the last three seasons. I did take my grand nephew from Florida there just after the Fourth of July. We had a good day. The best bait was a 2 3/4"Lunker City Grubster, Clear Water color on a 2/0, 1/8th ounce, Keitech super round jig head. They must have looked like young herring. On the pond near my home they've been hitting wacky worm, Rage Tail Menace, Rage Tail Craw, and the aforementioned Grubster. Been catching some nice fish in the grass beds about two hundred yards from shore in seven feet of water. I started trying the grass beds well away from the shore a couple of trips ago and so far, so good. I'm thinking of tying on a spinnerbait. It should pass through the tall plants pretty well. Quote
