I've been interested in writing articles for a while now. Something I have always loved to do is teach. I coached boxing for 2 years after I was done fighting myself and I have been coaching track and field (discus) for 3 years now. But now that my time in sports is almost done (1 more track season) I am looking for something else I can contribute to, and I have always been fairly decent at writing and great at giving speeches, so writing articles interests me. Only thing is, I'm not sure how/where to start!

I stop fishing to help teach kids. That's were we need to focus on the future of this sport. Get the kids interested and keep them motivated in fishing.

Talk to your local news paper about writing a fishing report and include a "kids bobber report"?

Submit some to BR! You may not get paid for it, but you'll help lots of people learn how to fish, and that's what it's all about.

I just submitted my third article, which hopefully will get published soon. You can see my other ones here: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/how-to-bank-fish.html and  by searching, "Why we fish" on BR. I've had lots of people PM me telling me they appreciated and learned from what I wrote.

I love sharing my passion about bass fishing, and I will continue to submit them. It's the best feeling in the world knowing you've helped someone catch fish or get back into the sport.

I wrote 2 articles for another site. I was on spinnerbait fishing and the other was on the versatility of a lipless crankbait. Come up with a topic and theme, write down about 3 or 4 bullet points you want to empahsize and write a paragraph on each bullet point. Tie them all in on the last paragraph.

It was a lot of fun to do.
