*Hank Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 4+ lber on a blue/silver Rapala rippin rap while pike fishing. Wow great smallie to start the year! Quote
BassNut Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I catch my first smallies every year on a 2" paddle tail on a 1/4oz football head jig. And, on the few I have left, I bought 300 after yum decided not to make the 3" yum dingers. A 3" yum dinger rigged weightless, baby bass color, on a wide gap hook, it's a killer. Wish Yum would bring the 3" yum dingers back, best Small mouth bait I've ever used. Quote
Radford Wooly Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 1/4 oz. Jig with zoom salty chunk trailer Quote

DevinFishing29 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Probably my first one was on a nightcralwer. I think it was around 1 to 2 pounds. Quote
KDZ-9 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Dragged a 5 inch watermelon candy senko at Table Rock Lake in MO. Smallies love this color. Popped up a 4 lb on my first cast of the season. Quote
stepchild Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 3rd cast with a KVD 1.5 in sexy shad...never used a squarebill for smallies before and was delighted to see they're just as effective as they are for largemouth. Quote
Super User Further North Posted July 5, 2015 Super User Posted July 5, 2015 Don't know size (I seldom measure or weigh), but call it 15"- 16". It was on a orange Yamamato Hula grub on a 5/16 oz. stand up jig head. Quote

Steveo-1969 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Wish Yum would bring the 3" yum dingers back, best Small mouth bait I've ever used. I feel the same way about the 3" YUM Mighty Bug. I love that bait and only have a couple left. Quote

BassNut Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I feel the same way about the 3" YUM Mighty Bug. I love that bait and only have a couple left. Yep, I bought all the 3" Yum Dingers I could find, I maybe have 50 left, so I know what you mean Steveo! Quote
CeeJay Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Yep, I bought all the 3" Yum Dingers I could find, I maybe have 50 left, so I know what you mean Steveo! I could have sworn I read somewhere that they were bringing back the 3" Dinger....can't remember where I read that though. About ~8 years ago I stocked up on 3" Senkos after landing my PB largemouth on one. If that size Senko is discontinued I'll be heartbroken. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 5'' senko....BORING. lol 2 Quote
*Hank Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 Yep, I bought all the 3" Yum Dingers I could find, I maybe have 50 left, so I know what you mean Steveo! Get the 3'' yama senko, even though it`s more $$$ it`s worth it for better quality and color selection. 1 Quote
