Over the past couple months I've seen a lot of people making their own swimbaits and this has generated some great discussion. I compiled a lot of that into one thread for people starting new projects (like me) to be able to research. I apologize if a thread you started that is related to building a swimbait wasn't included, I probably just missed it in my search. Feel free to post a link and I will add it, along with any other useful stuff too.

you should probably replace the "daves triple jointed shad thread" with this link:

http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1220817220

because the bait in the current link you have was a failure :-/

the bait in the link i just gave you totally rocks though! ;)

bummer about the first one being the suck, link replaced.

Do you have/know of any threads about doing the joints?  I saw one around here using cotter pins, but I can't find it atm.
