Michael Hannon Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Hello, I have recently got a used 2006 Nitro 591(similar to z7) and have gotten used to it. One thing I can't figure out is how to get the recirculate/ pump out switch to work. I try it with the valve in my Livewell pushed in and out and nothing works. I have just noticed that the light doesn't come on so I was wondering if anyone has an easy solution for this or if I need to get it checked out by a professional. Thanks Quote
Smokinal Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 If you are comfortable and know how to test for power with a test light, you can do it yourself. If not, leave it to a pro. I'd start by testing for power at the switch. If there is power there, go to the next spot downstream; if no power, back up to the next spot upstream. Did you check fuses? Sounds like no power to the switch if no light comes on. If you had a light, then I would go with the pump. Quote
Michael Hannon Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Thanks for the help. The switch and light worked when current flowed through them. It turned out that there was a 5 amp fuse installed when the switch said 10 amp. It works fine now. Quote
