Hello.  I have just moved to Williamsburg VA from Redmond WA and am eager to start bass fishing.  I have bass fished for years but I hope Virginia will have more and bigger fish than Washington State did.  I welcome any advice on where to go when to go how to fish.   I will learn a lot myself but I am willing to learn from others.  My plan now is to get a small electric powered bass boat and get started.

Welcome aboard, Rich!

Some very good fisheries in Williamsburg,

and down in Yorktown/Newport News.

Newport News Park is home to Lee Hall

Reservoir, and a little further down is

Harwood's Mill.

Waller Mill Park, Little Creek, etc. up in

Wmsbg have great fishing.

Have a look here for some local lakes:
