Yesterday morning I caught this 8.10 lber in the Ocklawaha River on a wild shiner at first light.

I've been useing artificial lures for so long I've forgotten how much fun it was ueing live bait.

Need to change that.

This is just one of the many reasons I love this site, guy catches a great fish on a live shiner, not a single comment on the whether it's right/sporting/challenging or whatever to use live bait.

I enjoy the shiner bite in the winter and spring when I can keep them alive, but once the temps go up, I'm back to artificials. Caught big fish both ways. It's  the time oout there that counts.
