JeziHogg Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Hmm, $190 for the Brenious... Whats the US equivalent of that reel? Is it a 50 size Chronarch with a shallow spool? I'm pretty sure its a cheaper version of the Aldebaran BFS. Quote

This is basically a fast gear ratio chronarch/curado 50 with a new spool. The spool is design for small braided line. The spool is semi shallow but it's very narrow to prevent line digging. It'll be a technique specific reel with limited line capacity for you mono users. It has brass gears thougH Quote

Sad that I can get a package faster from Japan than from somewhere in the US! With cheaper shipping. One piece rod from Japan, $34, cardboard box w/3 3700 Plano's in it 3 states away, $31. I don't buy rod or reels stateside anymore. I'd like to, but $285 from Japan or $695 stateside, what would you do? Brian. Quote
