Jtrout Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Found this floating in a pond today attached to a stick. It looks like the hooks were upgraded and it has a sticker of a bass jumping in its eyes wondering if you guys know what kind it is. Quote

Super User buzzed bait Posted January 6, 2015 Super User Posted January 6, 2015 jeff is right, yamamoto for sure. careful when/if you replace the hooks that you replace with the right size. those particular poppers seem pretty sensitive to the right size hook. i put 1 size too big on it once and it turned into a sub-surface lure. Jtrout Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 What size hooks should I put on it I'm gonna use it. It cost like 8 bucks Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted January 6, 2015 Super User Posted January 6, 2015 i honestly do not know the right size. they come with mustad triple grips, but i could not tell you the right size. perhaps someone else can chime in or maybe the google machine can help. Quote
riverbasser13 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 That's a good score, some fresh hooks and you'll be good to go. Quote
*Hank Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Deffently Yamamoto can tell by the pattern and the eyes. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Check online for the correct hook size. I have turned a lot of floaters into sinkers by putting on hooks that are too big. Quote
JLeon77 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Love those poppers, I've had a lot of luck with those! Gotta remove the split ring in the mouth first. Quote
