Alpha Male Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Have you guys looked at the new yozuri crawfish crankbait? I HAVE to get one... No make that 2. I just want to ask about the colors. I originally liked the Brown and parrot thinking one that kinda looks natural and one that stands out. But after watching the tackle warehouse stock of the blue and luminous ones disappear in a couple of days I am rethinking my color choices. What do you guys think? I would post a link but let's be serious we all have a permanent tab open to tackle warehouse .com. Quote

Super User smalljaw67 Posted December 30, 2014 Super User Posted December 30, 2014 That is a pretty large bait and it is more of a jig than a crankbait. That said, the Yo-Zuri 3DB and 3DS series of baits have been great, a friend of mine had a good day on the 3DB topwater prop so I got a few and that was it, I was sold on them. I have the 3DS popper and I want to add the 3DS and 3DB wake baits to the equation, you also have to understand that the pictures on TW or anywhere for that matter don't do the baits justice. In the pictures it looks as if the colors are really wild and out there but that is just do to lighting, they have a prism center and in the water they have a realistic translucent quality that I believe helps because we hammered fish with that prop bait and not a sniff on any other topwater, I don't know about any other marketing claims but I really like this series from Yo-Zuri so grab some of those when they come out and let us know how they work. Megastink Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 You may also want to look at River2Sea's Crawler crankbait. TW has them on sale for around $2.75 right now. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted December 30, 2014 Super User Posted December 30, 2014 Yozuri baits are, without a doubt, proven eyecatchers, and fishcatchers as well. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Looks cool. Does not look very snagless. With slow sink, prob hard to keep on the bottom unless fished very slow. Pretty big too Quote
Alpha Male Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 Thanks for the responses guys. I wouldnt really fish it like a crankbait, but thats what they want to call it. it looks like it will catch some fish, just curious about what colors you would use? Quote
