It was to nice to not go fishing today, 80° cloudy and windy. I was losing confidence and was only able to get a dink on a swim jig, then I decided I'd try a jerkbait I got for Christmas and started killing em' on it!

Yep, I'm a jerkbait junky and not afraid to admit it! Those H2O jerkbaits are a really great bait for the money. Enjoy the open water, everything here froze yesterday  :cry3:

That's because you've never hit them whenever they're hot on them. Wait til spring time whenever the water is in the 50-60 degree range.

Jerkbaits are awesome when the bite is on! Looks like you found the on switch for them. Like blue said, enjoy the soft water. We are frozen here and with forecasted temps in single digits the next 2 nights... Ugh :(
