i'm wanting to repaint some of my stanley spinnerbaits.  i would like to remove the old paint completely bacause they're all chipped.  also would like to epoxy them.  have yall got any tips, tricks, or suggestion about how to do this?  is there a certain type of paint i should use or just plain old spray paint?

Not sure about the removal of the old paint part? But, just about any paint can be used to re-paint them if you use Devcon 2ton epoxy over it.

soak em overnight in laquer thinner that should remove the paint or at least make it easy to rub off. i powder painted some of mine, it worked pretty good.

Hey Tacoman - Munkin is right...it doesn't matter what kind of paint you use, just coat it with Devcon - 2 ton. This past winter i started to repaint some of my old or new-ugly cranks and jerks , and tried spinnerbait heads too. It works great and now i paint my my drop shot & worm weights also.
