Here are a few of my balsa crankbaits I finished this week..All hand cut and shaped no duplicator machine ...even though sometimes I wish I had one haha...just thought yall might like to see what's possible with normal tools and time...enjoy

I really like that limetruese color in the first set of pics, that's a good color around here.

Thanks eveybody... I'm trying to get my wife to video me doing some of the steps when making them to put on here .. She's not thrilled with the idea hahaha... Anyway I'm glad yall like them ... theres nothing more satisfying then catching a big old spot on a bait you made

These are really nice! I have been making lures for three years and I know the hard work it is to make crankbaits. Those buggers are the hardest to keep consistent. So what I'm saying is anyone can paint a lure, but to make a consistent crankbait is what impressed me the most. Keep up the GREAT work!

Mitchell, they are all beautiful and will work on Virginia rivers.

 

The Firetigers would be dynamite on the Historic James River.
