Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 1, 2014 Global Moderator Posted December 1, 2014 Now how do I get my wife to understand this? 1 Quote
jbw252 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 You can't win...women think in terms of saving, not spending. That's why it's called a Life Lesson, because you got schooled. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted December 1, 2014 Super User Posted December 1, 2014 If you get your wife on board with this please have her call mine. This is not a concept she understands. Buying something you don't need because it is on sale is like a person starting smoking because of a good price on cigarettes! 1 Quote
desmobob Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I don't understand it myself, so I can't help you... :-) Tight lines, Bob Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 1, 2014 Super User Posted December 1, 2014 C'mon...The more you buy the more you save! Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted December 1, 2014 Super User Posted December 1, 2014 My first wife brought home an ugly artificial white Christmas tree one year, she always insisted on live trees. I asked "why" her response, "it was only a few dollars". I threw it in the trash that week, she never missed it or asked about it, and never understood why it was a complete and utter waste of money. Super User Darren. Posted December 1, 2014 Super User Posted December 1, 2014 I'm afraid my wife is trying to get ME to understand that. Quote
Jolly Green Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Agreed... but if you buy a $1000 jig setup on sale for $750, and you tell your wife you spent $750 on it, don't you then at least mention the $250 you did not spend? 1 Quote
