Whats better? any differences? I have always used chatterbaits and wanted to pick up some Rage Blades, Whats your opinion?

rage blades are meant to be slowly retrieved and stay vibrating, that was the impetus for their creation. Really two different baits, get both!

I use both. I believe the chatterbait is the better bait. Id say because of the more erratic action it has. I've been throwing one since they come out. Don't get me wrong they both catch fish. But if i wanna get serious about it, ill throw a chatterbait.

If you're serious about getting into chatterbait fishing, then neither.

if you just want something to throw and try out, the rage blade is a good shallow water option that is meant to worked very, very slowly or it will will rise too fast and wake. it's okay at coming through wood. not great, but better than average. I'm fairly particular about my vibration jigs but I use a rage blade /w a custom skirt i tied for very shallow areas. no issues /w the hookups or hook bending..

I'm not a fan of z-man chatterbaits.

I definitely like the chatterbait brand over the rage blade. But they are two different lures. Chatterbait is the original and I think the hex blade with rigid angles makes it the best.

The rage blade loves to raise up the water column, and unless you reel in painfully slow it's harder to keep on the bottom.

It's specifically designed to be slow rolled, and keep vibrating.

The SK bait shined early season for me.

By using a slower reel (cranking) I was able to work the bait at a speed that was good for me & the bass.

I prefer C&C Custom Baits Big Head Wobbler to both.

You can beat the crap out of them, slow roll them or burn them. Great quality and made by guys that live for fishing!

The z-man is a much better bait in my opinion but they're both pretty deferent baits you should deffenetly try both.

I have not tried the Rage Blade but the poor quality of the Zman Chatterbait is what drove me to start making my own. I've heard they've upgraded their components but I'm too happy with my own baits to have any need to try theirs again.

Zman looks like it was made by Mattel or Matchbox, I second bluebasser on that, there are much better made around

Haven't tried the Rage Blade yet but I prefer the SK Pure Poison to the Chatterbait. As others have said, they seem flimsy compared to others.

Not only do they look sweet but they can take a freaking beating and just keep going. Quality components, and made for flat out catching fish!

I've dropped all other jigs and bladed baits and won't throw anything else.
