Super User Senko lover Posted November 17, 2014 Super User Posted November 17, 2014 Today, I did something that I've been trying my hardest to do for two months: catch a jig fish. I fished it and fished it (not exclusively, but often) for that time period without even getting a bite. Imagine my exuberance today when I finally caught a jig bass! Did a little dance move and whooped in the air......May many more follow! 9 Quote
jbw252 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Congratulations. Hopefully there's going to be many more. 1 Quote
desmobob Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Next thing that will probably happen is you'll fish them more. And then you'll notice the size of the fish you catch on jigs tends to be larger than on other baits. And then you'll fish them even more again! Tight lines, Bob 2 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted November 18, 2014 Super User Posted November 18, 2014 Congrats! I remember my first jig fish: a 3.5 pound largie! Very exciting that first jig fish. I've actually been keeping a jig tied on one of the 3-4 rods I take with me on the yak lately. 1 Quote
Brian6428 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 My first jig fish was a half pound dink. The second was my PB in my avatar. Now I almost always keep a jig tied up and on deck. 1 Quote
