BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted November 15, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted November 15, 2014 For those of you who couldn't access the site tonight, I apologize. The network that our site sits on went down for 3 hours tonight, which made our site unavailable. We're back up again, and shouldn't have any further issues. My apologies to those that experienced severe withdrawal symptoms, including nervous ticks, short tempers, and uncontrollable urges to cast a bait at the cat. 4 Quote

Super User tomustang Posted November 15, 2014 Super User Posted November 15, 2014 Too late, I set the hook on two cats, one jumped off but I landed the other and it scratched the heck out of me. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 16, 2014 Global Moderator Posted November 16, 2014 Too late, I set the hook on two cats, one jumped off but I landed the other and it scratched the heck out of me. I've said it before and I'll say it again, nothing fights like a house cat you didn't know was watching your bait swinging around while you're trying to pick out the awesome backlash you got on the lake earlier that day. On the plus side, all that line that was pulled off in the attempt to clear the backlash is no longer in a pile at your feet A good landing net is a must and a billy club is probably not a bad idea either when attempting to land and unhook a cat.
