I'm curious, what did the topic title originally state for it to be censored?

I've typed in words before that should have been perfectly acceptable only to have them removed.  They weren't cuss words, dirty words, etc.  Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the changes.  I can see links to other forums and cuss words, but...............?

I think I can honestly say I'm good for right now. I just picked up a Diawa Zillion Crazy Cranker last week (4.9:1 ratio), and I think that rounds out my arsenal quite nicely now that I can chuck large cranks with ease. So maybe I've already gotten my offseason reel.

Although I might not pass up a good deal on a Core or Aldebaran if one comes along.

With some recent posts creating some interest in me, I picked up an older Ambassaduer 5000 and ordered some parts to bring it into the new era.

If the Diawa PX-R is still available at TW for the sale price I will probably pick up another one of them.  If they aren't then I'm looking at the SS SV.

Probably a stradic ci4+, some hawgtech handles, and some dress up parts for the tatula

Maybe another Antares HG. Another Scorpion XT1000 would be nice. I have also been wanting a Conquest 50 DC or another Conquest 50. Right now, I need to get some rods to finish things up.

I need a few reels... I just picked up four new Kistler rods last week when they had their "Buy a KLX rod and get a Carbon Steel rod FREE" sale.

I already picked up a Lew's Tournament Pro (my favorite).  I'm planning on buying another one of those, a Tatula, and will probably take the plunge and buy my first Shimano baitcaster (haven't decided which one yet).  If I can't decide on a Shimano, I'll by another Tournament Pro.

Tight lines,

My goal is to get a Steez SV or a Megabass Zonda Hedgehog. Man those are two pretty reels. I will fish it so it won't be shelf queens but I won't take them out during tournaments. I already have a Steez with a SV spool but I want the real one for all those SV accent colors lol. Now to find a rod that matches.....lol.

You're gonna be very happy with the KLX. I have the 7' MHF TCRWJ paired with a tatula and a curado i and it's a blast to fish with. I really like the curado over the tatula, but it's hard to beat the tatula for the prices you can find them for.

I got a chance to fish with the new KLX rods today and, you're right, I'm very happy with them!  (And I did have a Tatula mounted up on one of them.)  I just wish the fishing season wasn't over for the year so I could really get to know them.

A Chronarch or Curado will probably be the reel I choose if I decide to try a Shimano baitcaster.

Japan Tackle has this reel on sale right now.

I know......I look at that site every day hoping it's still available lol. There things I need to buy first before I can splurge on that reel.

I finally got to fish with my new reels the last few days. The Tatula-R handles 25-pound flouro and half ounce weights really well. I was impressed. I didn't use the Lews Lite as much. When I turned all the controls off, it casts a long way but backlashed some. I had trouble dialing it in for really light baits, for which I bought it. But is was windy and I didn't give it all the attention that it needed to dial it in. I'll try again soon.

I'll get some more Tatulas if they are on sale. I want to put some 20-pound flouro on them. I think the Lites have some potential. I was using 15-pound flouro on it so it may perform better with 12-pound line. But I don't use anything under 15-pound line. I don't like a braid to flouro set up either. Either straight braid or straight flouro. So, when Black Friday comes, I'll be looking for more Tatulas.

This time of year I'm always looking for a deal. Cabela's had the Pflueger Summit bait caster marked down from 149.99 to 49..99 with no shipping charge. The reel model was discontinued with a new one coming out in its place. Bought a great Pflueger Supreme bait caster the same way over 10 years ago and its still by my side in my fishing excursions.

Tried out the Summit this Saturday and caught four decent bass and loved the reel. Performed well on light line and small lures. Only 2 minor backlashes. Went back to Cabela's to get another one and it was sold out.
