Super User fishinfiend Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 I won't be too upset and i won't blame the officials either like LSU fans always do. I don't take it too seriously. Besides, NFL is MUCH better than college football. RGDMFT Quote

BassSlayer71 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 And I'm sure if Alabama loses, it'll be because of the refs, or it wasn't at a neutral site, or the wind was blowing form the south instead of the north... Bama had trouble on the road with Arky just like Miss State did. Hell, Kentucky played them strong. Any given Saturday?? 1 Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 Gonna be a great game no matter what. I can't wait to see it. 1 Quote

BassSlayer71 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 There is a lot of SEC hate going on. I think the committee is hating also. If Alabama wins... Miss State should stay in the top four... but probably won't. 1 Quote

I suspect when all is said and done the SEC will only have 6 of the top 10 ratings, but it will have #1. The SEC is simply the Elite Conference which makes all our teams targets. Whether Indiana wins another game or not, beating Missouri made their year! 1 Quote
BassSlayer71 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Oh yeah, some teams seasons are made by beating an SEC team. Namely Alabama. Ole Miss could probably lose the rest of their games and be just fine. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 Hard to beat 12 guys on the field in Tuskaloser. Home team this weekend. I will be yelling and shouting for the Dogs. Should be another fun game to watch. Quote

greentrout Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Great game. MSU made a valiant effort in a very hostile environment. Blake Sims was magnificent in making third down plays. Gotta love SEC football. Roll Tide... Old school basser... Quote

Super User 00 mod Posted November 17, 2014 Super User Posted November 17, 2014 ...and now 5-loss Arkansas is in the "Others receiving votes" section of the AP poll... All 5 losses were against a team ranked in the top 10 at time of playing....... #6 Auburn 45-21, #6 Texas A&M 35-28 OT, #7 Bama 14-13, #10 Georgia 45-32, and #1 Ms St 17-10 And we have the hardest schedule in the country this year Jeff Quote
BassSlayer71 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 All 5 losses were against a team ranked in the top 10 at time of playing....... And we have the hardest schedule in the country this year Jeff According to the FPI, Alabama has the #1 SOS going into week 12. Auburn losing hurt that staying true going into the SEC championship game though. With that said, I had a blast at Gameday and the game this weekend! Even got the wifey on TV (in the background) of Gameday. The stadium was electric the entire night! Have to say for my first SEC game, it was one to remember. I hope we can go to Alabama/LSU next year though. Being from Louisiana and my bro and sis being born there and LSU fans makes that my favorite game of the year! Quote
