Super User roadwarrior Posted November 9, 2014 Super User Posted November 9, 2014 Last night LSU played their hearts out, but came up short. A lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda and the results go the other way. Still, The Tide rocks...Roll Tide Roll... So, who do you like next Saturday? I'm rooting for the Cinderella story and State. MSU has never been ranked #1 and this game is probably the biggest in their long history. No doubt Saban and The Crimson Tide will bring their A Game...Go Bulldogs! Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted November 9, 2014 Super User Posted November 9, 2014 I like whichever result that puts fewer SEC teams into the playoff. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 10, 2014 Super User Posted November 10, 2014 If the SEC refs call a fair game then it is Missysippy State all the way. If they call the game in Bamasux's favor like they did in Baton Rouge than Satan will prevail. A team can't win when the refs play for the other team. Quote
basshole8190 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Haters gonna hate! Roll tide. Pulled out a tough one in Death Valley. Taking that momentum and pulling out a win at home vs miss. St Quote

BassThumbAddict Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Whichever one helps the Big 12 more, but then again doesn't every one like a Cinderella team? Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 10, 2014 Super User Posted November 10, 2014 cry babies gonna cry Roll Tide Little Nicky had tears in he's eyes when he said "they out played us, we were lucky to win" Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted November 10, 2014 Super User Posted November 10, 2014 still won though lol Maybe you will do better next year. With this cold snap we are getting towards the end of the week you could keep warm by burning your LSU clothing and memorabilia. Roll Tide! RGDMFT Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 10, 2014 Super User Posted November 10, 2014 The Missysippy State vs. Bamasux game is going to be interesting. When LSU had not gotten their offensive and defensive lines clicking they almost came back to beat MSU. Lost by 5 points. LSU gave Bamasux a lot of problems so Satan has to correct them before kickoff. If the MSU-Bamasux game comes down to quarterbacking then MSU will win. If Yeldon is OK (have not heard any medical reports on his knee) and Bama can keep hitting Cooper and letting him run wild plus their big tight end now and then,I believe Bamasux will win. Either way it will be a fun game to watch and these two teams are our only SEC hope to get into the playoffs. Love 'em or hate 'em, it is either MissySippy State or Bamasux. Us LSU people will just sit back and enjoy some hard hitting SEC football. Quote
basshole8190 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 hard to beat bama at home. especially when we're generating offense of 500+ yds in bryant denny. Mississppi St is a great ball team but they havent done much to impress me since their win against auburn. Prescott is starting to show signs of wear and tear from all the running around and their defense is hit and miss at best. Alabama has a fumble problem this year which needs to be corrected and under new O.C. Kiffin have gotten away from the smashmouth hard hitting running game that was their bread and butter for decades. Truth be told if bama had to go play @ MissSt. id be worried but at home Bama seems to play like they want to win another championship. But who knows if we'll even get a bid into the playoff. The playoff committee seems to have a grudge against Bama for some reason. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted November 10, 2014 Super User Posted November 10, 2014 It will be an excellent game indeed. I'm hopeful, but Miss St has a better team. Rest of the season is irrelevant to me at this point. Beating LSU at their home is the sweetest victory. Quote
bluenitrouscoupe Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 I don't see bama getting it done this weekend. They had a very physical game in death valley and Miss St just are so hard to beat. I think it will be 28-17 miss st Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 Bama struggled with Tennessee, barely beat Arkansas, got stomped by LSU, & lost to Ole Miss. Nicky gonna need all the officials he can hire! State by 14 Quote
basshole8190 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Catt, miss state let uab almost take the lead before half time, let Arkansas run the ball at will, let Kentucky throw for 300+ passing, let U.T. Martin hang around and score 17 points. Not as impressive as every one thinks. Not really as strong as they are made out to be. Look for a loss in Tuscaloosa and maybe a rematch in the championship! Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 You're in total denial if you can not see how bad LSU exposed Bama as being over rated. Miss State has more offense than LSU & Bama could not stop our running or passing. Quote
einscodek Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I'd like to see Miss State take it and it does seem Bama is having a down class here.. imo their QB position is not as sharp as the position usually is at Bama.. Either way SEC West is just loaded and will need to be represented in the playoffs Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 Miss State has more offense than LSU & Bama could not stop our running or passing. kept you light on points and still won lol Roll Tide- LSU nation cried Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 kept you light on points and still won lol Roll Tide- LSU nation cried Bama defense had nothing to do with LSU not scoring more, LSU stopped their own self. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 So what you are saying is LSU sucks despite the opponent? Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 So what you are saying is LSU sucks despite the opponent? No what I'm saying is Bama ain't all that & Miss State will prove it! Quote
BassSlayer71 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Roll Tide! I think it'll be a good game but Bama I think will pull away in the end. Home field advantage will be the key difference IMO. 1 Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 No what I'm saying is Bama ain't all that & Miss State will prove it! So if we win will you refrain from saying Bamasux and burn your LSU gear? RGDT Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 12, 2014 Super User Posted November 12, 2014 So if we win will you refrain from saying Bamasux and burn your LSU gear? RGDT And if you lose? Bamasux is all Sam! Quote
