Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 19, 2014 Super User Posted October 19, 2014 I'm curious what big trailers y'all like on your jigs? Today the only thing I could get bit on was a hack attack jig with a full size Stanley bull ribbit as a trailer, slowly swimming it back to the boat. Caught a nice 3lber on it Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Caffeine Shad, Rage Lobsters, and even Rage Smokin' Roosters are my main big trailer baits... Weird... I just realized each of those baits caught my top 3 fish this year lol... Cafferine Shad ~ 6-10 Lobster ~ 6-1 Smokin' Rooster ~ 6 3 Quote
Jon G Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I sometimes use a full size 5 in paca craw as a trailer. Definetley dont get a lot of bites but they sure are big bites when you do get bit 1 Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 19, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 19, 2014 Never tried the smokin' rooster as a trailer, looks like it works good for you jitterbugger! Lol Quote

Super User Hi Salenity Posted October 19, 2014 Super User Posted October 19, 2014 Big trailer= big fish! Go big or go home!!! Quote
papajoe222 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Big Bite Baits makes a craw tube that's both long and thick in diameter. When nose hooked, the results are a 6in. bait with a slower fall rate than a full sized Paca or Rage Lobster. It's a great combo for stroking and I would imagine for punching. Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 20, 2014 Super User Posted October 20, 2014 Zoom Brush Hog, baby brush hogs ain't big enough. Quote
