Global Moderator Mike L Posted October 6, 2014 Global Moderator Posted October 6, 2014 I've been useing 15# Invisex on my plastics and spinner/chatter bait combo's and really like it. My neighbor has been useing 14# XPS for almost everything he does and he gave me a spool to try. Since I've never used it I thought I'd ask here if anyone has and what do you think of it. Thanks Mike Quote
MemphisFF Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I used it my last outing in August it was pretty stiff to me but did well when I treated with kvd line conditioner.. After treating it, it did well for me. Quote
Super User David P Posted October 6, 2014 Super User Posted October 6, 2014 Stiff, average, mediocre fluorocarbon. There is certainly worse on the market, and certainly much better. Fluorocarbon ain't cheap though, so a free spool of decent fluorocarbon is never a bad thing! 1 Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted October 7, 2014 Author Global Moderator Posted October 7, 2014 Thanks Fellas! Mike Quote
Chief 2 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I use BPS XPS on 4 of my reels with no issues. I do use the KVD line conditioner also. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 TT's fluoro shootout was kind interesting. It dispelled the myth of fluoro not stretching (again) and the BPS brand scored decently. Quote
Djf3864 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I use the stuff without issue on one of my baitcasters, 14lb test. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Been using BPS 14lb Flouro for 6 years on the Potomac for plastics and buy it on the annual sale. I use their 10lb for crank baits. Quote
