I have several of these and fish them on occasion. I was a little surprised that they are no longer being made. These baits have caught many a fish for me through the years and while I understand the trend towards new and possibly better baits I was wondering If anyone still fishes these old school baits?

I have one rebel deep wee r in yellow perch. It's 3/8 of an ounce and runs about 10' deep on 10 pound fluoro. Good crank has caught me some decent bass. Never throw it unless you have a lure retriever.

Absolutely. I still have quite a few Wee R's and Deep Wee R's that I bought many years ago.. It's one of my favorite crank baits in the Atchafalaya Basin.

Googled the best hook for the Deep Wee R and found this thread from 2014. Man   @whitwolf you built your collection in only 7 years . Must have started here .

Rebel sold a boatload of these lures, so they are readily available on the auction site.  Some sellers sell them in sets so you buy them in excellent shape for just two or three dollars per lure.
