Super User A-Jay Posted October 1, 2014 Super User Posted October 1, 2014 It is patriots fans like you that almost make me feel bad for hating the team as much as i do.....almost Hating the opposition is part of the fun. For instance - I'm Not a New York Giants fan at all. Mostly because I HATE THEM. A-Jay ( ok, I'm better now.) 1
Super User tomustang Posted October 1, 2014 Super User Posted October 1, 2014 Patriots always lose the first few, they always need to review the tapes 2
Super User tomustang Posted October 2, 2014 Super User Posted October 2, 2014 Hating the opposition is part of the fun. For instance - I'm Not a New York Giants fan at all. Mostly because I HATE THEM. A-Jay ( ok, I'm better now.) That's okay, since they had a flawless preseason, most Giants fans hate them as well for their regular season performance so far 1
Super User iabass8 Posted October 3, 2014 Super User Posted October 3, 2014 That's okay, since they had a flawless preseason, most Giants fans hate them as well for their regular season performance so far Said the guy who hasnt watched the past 2 giants games... 1
Super User tomustang Posted October 3, 2014 Super User Posted October 3, 2014 Said the guy who hasnt watched the past 2 giants games... Don't need to, I hear enough complaining from their fans.
Super User iabass8 Posted October 3, 2014 Super User Posted October 3, 2014 Don't need to, I hear enough complaining from their fans. Well that makes sense... The giant's looked good 2 weeks ago and just flat out impressive last week. Ben Macadoo is legit. 1
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 5, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2014 Geez... Our local affiliate decided to treat us to Jets vs Chargers. Unless you are one of THIER fans, there are much better choices playing right now! Peyton will probably hit the 500 touchdown milestone today. Kansas City vs San Francisco is another game I would like to be watching.
Super User flyfisher Posted October 5, 2014 Super User Posted October 5, 2014 He did hit the 500 TD mark today....the Eagles are killing me. Their defense is looking great but the offense is still sputtering with all their offensive line troubles which keeps the defense on the field way too long. Riley cooper even though he made on good catch today but he is still a bum and makes dumb plays...i fully expect him to be cut next season since he is no way worth the 4.8M he is slated to make. Big game next week against the Giants on Sunday night going onto the bye week...

Big game next week against the Giants on Sunday night going onto the bye week... It starting out looking great, then the old eagles came out and let the rams get points
Super User flyfisher Posted October 5, 2014 Super User Posted October 5, 2014 i don't know what is the old or the new Eagles at this point. the only consistent piece is the special teams playing very well. This dismantled offensive line is hurting them a lot on offense which is hurting them on defense because they are on the fired so much.....Foles is missing way too many open receivers
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 6, 2014 Super User Posted October 6, 2014 Niners won it today. What a great game, and I can't get over how amazing the new stadium is. 1
Super User F14A-B Posted October 6, 2014 Super User Posted October 6, 2014 Yay Peyton! Bengals looking a bit rough against the Pats..
Super User Nitrofreak Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 Well , congrats to the Seahawks , I thought the Skins did ok against the legion of boom , after the loss to the Giants , I honestly didn't know what to expect , didn't watch the game but seeing the final score and a few highlights , looks like we are headed in the right direction ... Still holding out for that 500 season LOL !
Super User flyfisher Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 Skins looked good and cousins played well. It was a lot closer than it looked after how the first quarter panned out. He has good touch on the ball 2
Super User Nitrofreak Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 I seen a couple of deep balls to Jackson that were thrown very well in the highlights , something this offense has been missing for a very long time . What cost the skins the loss ? Looking at the score it's hard to tell but I am assuming the secondary played better yet still needing more from help in that area ?
Super User flyfisher Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 Secondary needed help and wilson ran away from pressure all game long. To be honest, the refs kept the skins in the game too. there were at least 2 maybe 3 TD to Harvin that were called back for penalties and at least one was somewhat questionable. Either way, after the dud last week Cousins came out strong. Seattle is just a different team on the road than at home for sure. The skins could have won the game if it wasn't for a few blown coverages. 1
Super User Nitrofreak Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 So basically the skins in all reality should have been blown out of the water ... Again .
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 7, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 7, 2014 The Redskins could have won if they had scored more points and hadn't run out of time! 2
Super User Oregon Native Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 Ol Wilson has some good moves and proved it by braking the yardage record for monday nights. He's a threat and only going to get better I hope.
Super User Nitrofreak Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 The Redskins could have won if they had scored more points and hadn't run out of time! But it's my understanding that they got away with a few calls that went their way , as if another 14 to 21 points " should have been " added to the Seahawks total score , had the flags not been thrown , I am assuming the skins would not have even been in the ball park , is that an accurate assumption ? I have seen quite a few " questionable " calls in the few games I have watched this season , some seem to let the players play , others seem to do the opposite , not that it has been any different over the years but it seems to me that this year the questionable calls are going a little too far , for an example , I can't remember the teams that were playing , may have been the skins game but a defensive player had a hand on the QB's shoulder pad as the QB was in the motion of throwing the ball , nothing else , never took him to the ground , that small contact drew a roughing the passer , a bit too sensitive IMO . 1
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 7, 2014 Author Super User Posted October 7, 2014 The NFL's focus on reducing injuries led to a huge increase in penalty flags in the pre-season. That trend seems to be being maintained now in regular season. I can't tell if there are more questionable calls now than before, but I hate it when they're against MY team! With all the re-play capabilities, you would think "game changers" could at least be eliminated. Regarding last night's game, maybe a couple of calls could have impacted the game, but Seattle would have still found a way to win. The Seahawks are the team to beat which is challenging even when an opponent brings their A Game to the field. 1

The players are NOT adapting their games to prevent the calls resulting in a very poor product on the field. There doesn't seem to be any more or less players injured, there's no flow to the game At All so what the heck is the benefit of it all ? A-Jay 1
Super User F14A-B Posted October 7, 2014 Super User Posted October 7, 2014 The Officiating has been reminiscent of the time when collage referee's had to fill in on behalf of the NFL ... A few games have been horrendous. 2
