John J. Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Try this site, I got my components in 3 days after ordering, they are located in Illinois. www.lurecomponents.com They had some good stuff so you can make your own jigs and spinnerbaits, I made my own jigs, have yet to try them out though! Good luck! 8-) Quote
sregsvsrt Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Making your own lures is fun. I have a couple of Ohio River spinnerbaits that I've done extremely well on. I actually caught 7 fish in 7 casts on the Ohio River with one particular one I make. When you catch a fish on something you make yourself you get a serious feeling of accomplishment. I go with Jann's but haven't really done research on any others. Quote
fish-fighting-illini Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 I made 100 spinnerbaits to sell and I bought everything from Barlow's. Watch the total cost shipping can kill you so you only want to order all your stuff from one place and only 1 order if possible. Quote
