It´s not the most productive but I love it ----> Jitterbug

Much more productive: spinnerbait and lipless crank.

I've only been night fishing a handful of times but dark colors seemed to work better for me.  +1 for spinnerbaits.

Big black, single bladed spinnerbait, buzzbaits, jitterbugs, and large swimbaits that are fished near the surface.

Thanks for all your tips, this is exactly why I love bassresource.com, its like the facebook for bass fisherman!!!!

Black skirted buzzbaits with grub trailer.  Black spinner baits with a single No. 5 Colorado blade.  And a Ragetail Shad.

Topwater wakebait, try a jackall mikey.   I have been retro baiting lately and throw a devils horse, catches tons of fish.

The only difference between night and bass fishing is our ability to see well. You fish the same type lures you have success with during the day at night.

Where I fish nocturnal terrestrial creatures are active around the shoreline. I tend to fish the bank areas more at night and fish the deeper structure zones a little less, but still check those areas out.

Lures; DD14 & DD22 deep diving crawdad and shad color, jigs with 4" to 5" trailers, 9" to 13" soft plastic worms Texas rigged, rat wake baits, bluegill swimbaits, noisy surface lures. I prefer lures with a more stead retrieve pace at night.

I go night fishing pretty often from June - Oct. I have my best luck using spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and buzzbaits. I tend to fish in water less then 10 feet, usually 6 or less. The thickest weeds beds, inlets, and outlets produce well for me. A buzzbait reeled over the thickest weed beds produces some jarring strikes. Personally I like to use a plastic four bladed buzzbait with a twin grub trailer. Use a trailer hook on every thing.

Bladed jigs are KILLERS at night. The strong vibration, good profile, and the fact they can be retrieved nice and slow just seems to be a deadly combination. I like solid black, black/black/blue, and green pumpkin at night.

Jigs, 10" worms, and swimbaits are pretty much the only other baits I fish at night.
