Super User flyfisher Posted August 22, 2014 Super User Posted August 22, 2014 to me it is hard to pick against denver in the AFC again and in the NFC I seattle taking a bit of a slide back. My off the wall prediction is going to be AZ.....and of course i want philly to make it but unless their defense yes better this season i just don't see it happening even though the offense will be there. Super User iabass8 Posted August 23, 2014 Super User Posted August 23, 2014 Seahawks can basically write their ticket back this year. New england if healthy will probably be close. Hard to argue against denver. They dont have a hard schedule and by thanksgiving they will probably be in Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 23, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 23, 2014 After watching the Seahawks 1st stringers absolutely dismantle the Bears 1st stringers 31-0 IN THE FIRST HALF, it's really hard to argue they don't have a solid shot at a repeat. Yes, it's pre-season, but...WOW. The Bears just don't have an answer for them...as was the same with Denver in the Superbowl. Even the 3rd and 4th stringers are playing better than anything Chicago can throw at them. I know, I know, it's preseason, but the depth is really hard to ignore. Injuries are going to be the deciding factor for the Hawks. If they can stay healthy, we'll be watching them in February again. That said, just 5 teams have won back-to-back Superbowls since 1980. That's just 17%. Put another way, that's a 1 in 6 chance. So they're facing an uphill battle. Hoping for the best, but realistically, the odds are against them. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted August 23, 2014 Super User Posted August 23, 2014 Since we are ALL dreaming of the unknown and giving our expert opions, all pretty solidly based on fact after fact and the allignment of the stars of course.....it's a no brainer...SEATTLE wins it all again. 1 Quote

Super User Felix77 Posted August 23, 2014 Super User Posted August 23, 2014 Eli will figure out this new offense and take the G-Men to the Superbowl against big brother Payton! ... end dream. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted August 23, 2014 Super User Posted August 23, 2014 Patriots .. My hope is Denver gets another chance to Redeem themselves, Colts will be fun to watch , however, patriots probably going Deep this year! 1 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted August 23, 2014 Super User Posted August 23, 2014 I won't make a single team prediction, but who I think *can* make it: Seahawks Broncos Patriots 49ers Bills (okay, LOL - just kidding. My team has a snowball's chance in H. E. Double Hockey Sticks of making it that far) Quote

Stranger stuff has happened. And my sister in law ain't a pig. She's a hippopotamus water buffalo hybrid. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted August 23, 2014 Super User Posted August 23, 2014 Stranger stuff has happened. And my sister in law ain't a pig. She's a hippopotamus water buffalo hybrid. So she's like the size of those ginormous blue ribbon winning pigs at the fair /w massive balls.....only bigger. Raiders season ending record: 2-14 Wouldn't be surprised though if the Bills went 1-15. My good F#$#$ing god.....somebody hit the OC in his stupid head and just let CJ Spiller do what CJ Spiller does and just sit Fred Jackson. It's so hard to watch such a talented guy just get beat into the ground because of their god awful coaching. /end rant. Bills game is on and it's just hard to watch. Quote
