This a good question to everyone and deals with artificial only ,

but i know that every lure out there has caught fish, otherwise it wouldn't be on the market .

now we all have our favorite lure but which one would you say is best lure of all if you had to choose ?

i have to say the plastic worm , now that's my opinion, what's your opinion?

and is there any way of knowing? you can sell lots of a artificial bait but thats so what, everyone does to some extent.

The one I am using is the best one at that time and place.

That can be a different one at other times and places.

I don't have a favorite. My "favorite" is whatever the fish's is at a particular time and place.

I agree.

If I had to choose just one lure it would be a jig.

Soft plastic worm and various creatures have been the most popular artificial lures for several decades.

Hard lures come and go, the original Rapala minnow lure would come in second all time lures sold and still works today.

The question would be what lure would you put in a survival pack? Catching a fish could mean life or death!

A plastic worm, maybe. I would choose a 1/8 oz silver/gold Kastmaster and did for my survival pack!
