Brnnoser6983 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Okay, so here is a two part question. I would consider myself an avid fisher. I fish at least once a week during the summer fishing season here in Minnesota. By no means am I a "Pro" or do tournaments. But how does one need to have to buy their lures in bulk constantly? Do you loose that many lures!?! I mean if I lose more than 2 lures on a trip it has been a bad day. With that said I am looking to find a cheap online source for my buying needs. I am looking to buy some swim jogs and I hear about people buying them in bulk for .30 when they cost $2.99 or more in store. So where does one go to find these kind of deals? I use tackle warehouse when they have better deals than my local Gander, but where are these online stores that I hear that you can buy plastics for pinnies on the dollar?!? I am only looking to buy in bulk because a couple of my friends and myself are looking to stock up. Quote
tatertester Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Check Outlet Bait & Tackle on Google....Right here in Minnesota, mail order only , I think. Quote
(='_'=) Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 i thought i had replied in here, i guess my reply got deleted because it was advertising a store?? anyways it was the same store mentioned above, only i had included the webpage.... Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 3, 2014 Super User Posted August 3, 2014 I'll second Outlet Bait. I look for their deals on certain items but you have to check them out often. For example I buy a lot of Luhr Jenson lures like Krocodile spoons, sometimes as cheap as $1.99, can be as much as $4.99. I have bought Atom swingin swipers for as cheap as $1.99, regular $11, right now they are 6.99, as I say need to really go thru their site Quote
Brnnoser6983 Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Good website and many of the tackle I use is on there for a decent price, But I think it still misses the too good to be true factor. I almost wonder if these are turny guys that get the reduced rate plus a percentage off for buying. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted August 4, 2014 Super User Posted August 4, 2014 Check ebay. You can sometimes find really good deals on there. I've bought 50 Rat-L-Traps for $30, all of them brand new. I've also found similar deals on other crankbaits. Quote
NJBasstard Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 +1 on checking ebay that's where most of my hardbaits have come from.. Quote

They have bulk stick baits, to flukes to frogs to craws to worms. 10 bucks a pop(count varies by plastics size/weight) can't be beat IMO scented and ready to go! Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 5, 2014 Super User Posted August 5, 2014 Here's a simple answer: I like to purchase tackle, it's as fun as fishing. 2 Quote
