Hi all,

I'm looking for someone good and trustworthy that I could send my reels to to have them cleaned, lubed and, if needed, repaired. I know they all need cleaned and lubed and one needs repaired. I've tried to take apart and do myself, but I'm just not confortable doing it and would rather pay someone to do it right. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

Mike at Delaware Valley Tackle does outstanding work and he is a sponsor for this site. All my reels go to him.

There is also a discount for BassResource members, you can't ask for more.

DVT, I hear amazing chatter about it, plus you do get a discount as a member. Check them out, that's my advice!

I'll let him do my spinning reels. I do okay with baitcasters.

DVT is a site sponsor, the only other reel repair I would recommend for Shimano reels is Dan at Reel-Ex.

I contacted Mike at DVT. Got a reply already. Very impressive, especially on a Sunday. I will be sending off my Shimano for repair this week.

I'm sure you will be pleased.  Mike has done a few for me.  He currently has 3 baitcast and 1 spinning reel.  Three require repair work.  At least 2 will be having tunes and upgrades.
