BassAddict1911 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 just let me say, this all means the world to me fellas! i'm laid up on the couch now - and thanks to yalls prayers - the surgery yesterday went way better than expected and the doc said that the operation was an extreme sucess:) apparently I was blessed with an extra tough meniscus, so the repair to that was much less invasive that previously thought would be needed, and the doc was able to patch up both the ACL and MCL pretty well. With alot of prayers and therapy, there is a chance that I may be able to play baseball again as soon as next year! Look, thank you all again so very much, it REALLY meant the world to me, and I'm convinced that the prayers from all yall caused this surgery to go way better than planned - the doc said it was like a miracle ... that one of the worst tears he's ever seen turned out to be one of the most sucessful operations he's had. i'll tell you this, I definatley won't forget all the support from my bass resource brothers! Again, appreciate it fellas, yall are the best! 2 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted July 16, 2014 Super User Posted July 16, 2014 Sorry to hear you've been Hurt ~ Glad to known you're on the mend. Remember you only get ONE chance to heal it up right. Sometimes set backs happen, but a huge number of them are self induced. "Testing it" is a very bad idea. Follow your Doctors orders. Youth is on your side and you'll be slamming bass in no time. A-Jay ^^^^^^^This. To quote A-Jay, "Testing it" is the worst possible thing you can do for any major injury to your legs. What may feel fine while sitting down can buckle and pop once too much weight/force is put on it. Take it slow, do as the Dr. says, and hopefully you'll be back at it before you know it. 1 Quote
