Possibly just my plain old Midwestern dialect but figured it has to be somewhat universal, or the fact possibly I just don't enunciate clearly. i.e. someone may state..."that Nice_Bass is the best fisherman I know, better than all the fishermen I have ever met combined" I pronounce them both exactly the same...
