Mr_Scrogg Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 To boaters you co-angle with? Seems like everytime I back seat a boater, we have a real tough day of fishing. Quote
atpns1234 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 No but I took my uncle fishing a couple of weeks ago. I bragged how I had caught 20+ the week before. We caught 4. Not a good day. Quote
Fish Murderer 71 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 That doo-doo is all in your head. If you believe you're going to do bad, you'll do bad! If you believe you'll have a good time, you'll enjoy every dink you catch! 4 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 30, 2014 Global Moderator Posted June 30, 2014 We did pretty good the day that we fished Wabaunsee together, way better than I did at the fish off not long after that. Quote
Mr_Scrogg Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 Yea, it wasnt as bad as the fishoff. I hope it is all in my head. Suppose to backseat on LOZ in November. Maybe Ill learn a thing or 2. HAHAHA Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted June 30, 2014 Super User Posted June 30, 2014 I don't feel that I am bad luck, but I have had days where the bad luck has stuck to me with glue. Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 30, 2014 Super User Posted June 30, 2014 No. In fact, the three club tournaments I fished as a non boater had one first and two second place guys. One of the second place guys lost two giants that would have given him a win. Guys in my bass club know I am good luck and fishing with me is a plus! Quote
skeeter1980 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Everyone that I take fishing, they catch more than me,while fishing from the back seat. 2 Quote
ColdSVT Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 No, but if on the water with you expect 20kt winds...the lake will always be nice and calm with a slight breeze until i get there...then the gale warnings get posted! 1 Quote
Super User senile1 Posted July 1, 2014 Super User Posted July 1, 2014 Hmmm . . . . maybe your boater isn't doing so well when you aren't there and you just aren't aware of it. Stories can be told. 2 Quote
Skeeter Dan Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 It seems like Skeeter 1980 and I have the same problem. I got used to it after awhile and stuck them on the front. Guess what ? they still caught more fish! 1 Quote
plumworm Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I am not "bad luck", I am "no luck" And if you need a drought ending storm I will be there. My ability to draw record wind and hail the size of a jitterbug is well documented by my fishing buddies. They try to find a way to leave me home but, I am the cook and bartender plus, I own the boat. They can convince my wife to let them borrow the boat because she knows me. I did catch a bass once though. 1 Quote
