I am a 60yr old newbie from Brighton Tn. I love to fish but the fish don't love me.  I just started fishing again after a 15 yr break from the water. My skill at finding and catching fish stink but I still love to go. The only places Ive fished since Ive started back fishing is Glen Springs lake in Drummonds Tn and the Chute in Lauderdale county Tn. The only fish Ive caught was at Glen Spings. 2 Bream and 2 Bass and thats after going there 4 times. Ive been to the Chute 5 times  and caught nothing. I'm thinking about going to the lakes on the south side of I -40 between Jackson Tn and the Tn River. Hopefully I put some fish in the boat

Welcome from Jackson TN. I definitely recommend heading to Lexington and fishing Beech Lake, Pine Lake and Pin Oak Lake. Big fish and beautiful scenery.
