Tungsten Prices!!!

I went to Bass Pro yesterday and was going to restock some of the tackle I've lost over the last few months.  I went to get some weights and... OMG!!!  Tungsten prices have gone through the roof!!!  Four 1/2 oz bullet weights cost 25+ bucks!!!  and thats for bps brand.  Sensitivity is nice but not for that price...  Anyone know where to get tungsten for cheaper than 7 bucks a weight???

BPS has XPS tungsten weights in 1/2 oz size, on sale now, two for $5.83.

My vote would be to spend your money at Seibert Outdoors, though. Fair prices, great service, and Mike is simply an outstanding person to work with.

Several places to get them cheaper than BPS.  Guy I get them from sells 1/2oz bullet weights for $4.49 2pack so $2.25 a piece. PM me if you want more details.  Don't want to throw his name around since he's not a board sponsor.

usually order from alley tungsten but mike's prices are basically the same so i'm going to go with him next time (as long as he has inserts).  i'm only buying weights w/ inserts now b/c tungsten cuts ur line so easily (never had strike king so don't know if they have them but i'm sure someone else can comment).

I bought 25 packs of strike king 1/4 oz tungsten for a dollar a pack from walmart lol. So ya my tungsten stock is happy and my wallet was too. Keep an eye out for clearance boxes never know what you might find

I buy mine direct from china now.  Prices are pretty amazing compared to what we pay here.  THe markup @ places like BPS is CRAZY, although they do have a ton of overhead.
