Being deployed can certainly be challenging, try to keep in mind why you are there and what is being accomplished.  Stay positive and make it as enjoyable as possible for yourself and those around you.  After 20 years in the Military and being deployed to some very undesirable locations, I look back at  it and the bonds that were formed, and it was special.   Hang in there, what you are doing is far more important than fishing.

Thanks for taking the time to serve.  I was stationed on Adak, Alaska for 1 year, 17 days, and 13 minutes.  Got off on the 21st of June on my 21st birthday.  No....I wasn't counting.

:)......take care

Thank You for doing your part to defend our country.

One of the many great aspects about this sport that we love so much is that it's always there ~ Always.

No matter how long it is between trips whether it's a week or a year - it will still be there waiting for us.

So do what you have to do, and find comfort in knowing that your sport will be there patiently waiting for whenever you can get back to it.

Stay Safe

Thanks, I remender (all of us do)! They took me from one delta (Cal delta) and stuck my a$$ in another! Hang in there! When you get 30 day short, find a poster of a G.I. sitting on a peice of paper with his legs dangling. Only one word on the bottom of it - SHORT!

Be safe, keep your a$$ below your head and eat dirt when the sh!t hits!

Been there done that. Retired 24yr AF E8. Thank you for continuing the honored tradition of defending our great country. If you ever get to northern Alabama it would be my great honor to take you out for a day on the water.
