Super User Catch and Grease Posted May 29, 2014 Super User Posted May 29, 2014 Has anybody used these with success? I got a white and chartreuse one in the 1/2oz size and can't get a strike with them at all... They look great in the water and the blades work great. The only thing about them is the head of the spinner is a ball of metal that is scored instead of the normal fish head looking thing (don't know if there is a technical term for "normal fish head looking thing" lol) I can catch fish on all my other spinnerbaits except this one so I don't believe its how I'm fishing them, they are cheap that's why I got them... EDIT: Well I'm pretty sure they are the vibra -flx's, i looked it up and i found out there are versions with and without the "normal fish head looking thing" but here is a picture of the one im talking about. Super User MCS Posted May 30, 2014 Super User Posted May 30, 2014 I use the Booyah counter strike, tux n tails, and there std spinnerbaits. All caught me fish. They produce pretty good actually. Durability is another issue though but thinner wire equals better vibrations. They will get bent up, my issue was the willow would pull off, happened to two of my baits, a std and a counter strike. They are supposed to make it right though. Well see, for 3.50, can beat it catching fish even if it only lasts a trip or two. Quote
Super User MCS Posted May 30, 2014 Super User Posted May 30, 2014 Oh and here is my two cents about that bait pictured, doesn't look like a Booyah to me. It usually has Booyah stamped on the blades and there is a colored bead on the in between the metal ones. Quote
