fisherrw Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 really like them, any one else out there like em? Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 28, 2014 Global Moderator Posted May 28, 2014 Great walleye and crappie baits, never really fish them for bass though even though I've caught some on them. Quote
Carolina Boy Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I like them as well. Still learning to fish them effectively. I seem to fish them more than catch with them. Quote
Super User Ratherbfishing Posted May 28, 2014 Super User Posted May 28, 2014 My two largest bass (6 lbs 3 oz and 7 lbs) came from a white and a chartreuse glass rap, respectively. So, you could say I like them a lot. Quote
NathanW Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Yep, I use this style of bait from late winter until the smallmouth early postspawn. In a perfect world I would mostly use the SR5 and SR7 but its usually too windy to throw them so I throw the glass raps as they cast significantly better. Other similar baits that I will throw are the Storm Smash Shad and the LC Slim Shad. They all catch fish. Major downside is that this style of bait snags up much easier than other crankbait I use and like any rapala one cast against the rocks, your outboard, bridge column etc. and they are toast. Quote
