Super User Catch and Grease Posted May 27, 2014 Super User Posted May 27, 2014 Put it on a Texas rig weightless and use it like a buzz bait and you will love it! Using these as top waters is what got me into bass fishing and throwing around grass and hydrilla is fantastic. Just thought I'd throw this towards yall because Ive only ever seen one other person doing this! I like the colors green pumpkin and watermelon seed the most and they work great worked along the bottom like a traditional Texas rig too! Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted May 27, 2014 Super User Posted May 27, 2014 Yep it certainly works. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 27, 2014 Super User Posted May 27, 2014 I have done it and saw another guy at a local pond doing the same thing. It is a good presentation for sure if they are looking for something moving pretty quickly 1 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 27, 2014 Super User Posted May 27, 2014 They're great on the back of a swim jig too. Quote
Super User Catt Posted May 27, 2014 Super User Posted May 27, 2014 That's a staple in the shallow water marshes of south Louisiana! Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted May 27, 2014 Author Super User Posted May 27, 2014 Its cool to see that other people fish them this way, every time I catch a bass on one I get a bunch of memories from my first bass trips! Quote
