So Savage Gear has made it onto the U.S. market. Ive wstched vids from overseas where the baits are catching great size Musky, Pike, Yellow Perch and Zander.

Anyone use any of the Savage Gear products? How well do they hold up and are thier designs fish catchers or just Something to catch Anglers?

Ive got a few of thier products, im pretty optomistic on thier Swim and Jerk, however I havent tried it out yet...heck I havent even been on the water really at all this year.

Their 3d trout is a good bait and the glide swimmer has caught me a few bass and stripes. other than that i never fished anything else from them. so are they legit? In my opinion they are as legit as any other bait company.

Ive had a 4play swimbait. Bought it about 5 years ago. Great action. Pickerel magnet, no zander yet.

I fish their Real Trout line:

their Line Thru Trout line:

I was lucky enough to win one of their facebook contests for a free big bait tackle bag.

I really, really like the Real Trout stuff.  They are the best soft swimbait I've fished.  Better than Keitechs too.

The line thru trout I've not had a chance to fish much.  It looks amazing in the water though.

I had a 4play swimbait and I think they are really quality made baits for the price. The action on the 4play was an incredible "S" motion. very easy to spin too. Haven't tried any of the cranks of soft baits though.

I have not thrown the line through yet but from pics and what others say on swimbait forums I know it's solid. I got 1 on the 5" real trout but have not thrown any of my other real trouts yet. I have only gone out 2x this year for a few hours each time. I have high hopes for them. The detail is amazing and they have little holes in the tail to add a rattle!

I can't figure out what the #'s on the tail mean though.

I think that Savage Gear is affiliated with Okuma. So it is definitely legit.

"Developed and retailed in Europe, Okuma Fishing Tackle has brought Savage Gear to the United States.  Our selection is concise, focusing on the most unique and productive of the selection, but be assured, there’s more to come."

I think the soft 4play swimbaits with the lip skulls are one of the most innovative ideas I have seen. I haven't caught a thing on it though.

Just acquirerd a few lures to try. They look great and appear to be VERY

well made. I will post a detailed review after fishing them for awhile. Hope

to get them out today!

I bought a 3D trout a couple weeks ago. Still too cold to fish it here but it looks great in the water and seems very well built.
