I'm looking for a pair of tight, waterproof, gloves to wear when fishing. I have under Armour linear gloves but they aren't waterproof. I want something with dexterity and preferably without rubber palms. Am I asking to much???

I've been know to wear latex gloves (type used for medical uses) under my "warm" gloves.

Keep the hands dry and a good bit of digital dexterity is maintained.

Megastink, here's what I use.

Glacier Glove Waterproof Gloves

post-19969-0-97328600-1388889230_thumb.j

I've had these for quite a few years and they work fine for me. Keeps me fishing when it's cold and wet. I use them in 40 degree plus weather.

When I'm ice fishing, now that's different. I'm wearing Thinsulate Kombi Down Waterproof Ski Gloves. I don't need the dexterity of knot tying and changing lures. If so, I just take them off for a minute, maybe bait up with a shiner and put the ski gloves right back on.

Let me know what you think.

Check out neoprene dive gloves.  They make a huge range of thicknesses from 1mm neoprene up to 9mm so you have a much better selection than the "fishing" neoprene gloves.

Closest I have found to what your asking is a pair of the Simms windstopper fold over mitts. They are fleece lined, and can convert from a mitt when running the boat to a fingerless, thumbless glove when fishing. Very very warm and while they are not completely waterproof I have yet to have one actually get wet on me even in the rain. They are very "water resistant" although it does not state it.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not looking for a mitt. I want full coverage, no exposed skin, and be able to lip a bass without getting wet while also staying warm.

I'm gonna look at this diving gloves. Thanks all! Keep the suggestions coming!

A little on the thick side - I've cut a perpendicular short straight line (1cm or so) about half way up the index finger and thumb so I can pull the glove up and over those digits and temporarily stick my bare finger and thumb out the holes to use them to line tie, etc. Experiment with a cheap pair before cutting holes in expensive gloves. Or, I've seen some gloves pre-fabricated with this feature - check those out.
