Grantman83 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I'm a huge fan and will watch as soon as they come on. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted December 26, 2013 Super User Posted December 26, 2013 The schedule is online. http://www.majorleag...ls.aspx?id=2901 Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted December 26, 2013 Super User Posted December 26, 2013 Also a big fan... love the way they do that tourney and seeing the way the pros act under pressure Quote
TrippyJai Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Another huge fan here. I paid for every season of the extended cast online. The format is great and it's like being in the pros boats. I also like how they need to fish in the same areas and are forced to figure it out. I remember Ish switching up to a 1oz flipping weight and catching fish over the guys who were doing the same thing. Lots of detailed information. Quote
Megastink Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Exactly. You literally get to witness the birth of a pattern. It's like nothing else. Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted December 27, 2013 Super User Posted December 27, 2013 Needs more Shelly imo! ;-) The fishing and info is pretty awesome too. 3 Quote

JT Bagwell Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 So you have to pay per episode? I watch a lot of shows but I can't remember if I have ever seen this one. My dvr gets loaded up by the end of fishing season. Quote

Grantman83 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I go the online route...much more in depth. Worth the money imo 2 Quote

My dvr gets loaded up by the end of fishing season. $16 for a season. 7 episodes, well over 2hrs per episode. Well worth the price. I highly suggest it! 1 Quote
JT Bagwell Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Thanks for the info. It was -5 degrees here today so I should have plenty of time to sit in the house and watch fishing shows. Quote

If you go to the MLF Extended Cast website and create an account, you get episode one of the 2013 Summit Cup Elimination Round 1 for free, 2 hr+. Here is 17 minutes of free video from season 1 on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEilWmRdzMw I can't wait for the new season, one more day! Quote
JT Bagwell Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I finally got a chance to watch this and it is pretty cool. Looks like a fun idea for a tournament. Quote
Megastink Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 I finally got a chance to watch this and it is pretty cool. Looks like a fun idea for a tournament. I'm begging my club to do a Tourny like this. I figure that most of us have smartphones, and a group text would suffice for updating weights in real time. Then we'd all need the same scale, each calibrated. I thought this would be fun to tie into our annual "holes" format tourney. Rotating areas every 1.5 hours. It would be a great time! 1 Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 So the first episode of the new season (2014 summit Cup) has aired on Jan 4 2014. Am I wrong or do I not see it available in the Extended Cast yet? Quote

TrippyJai Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Very disappointed that they aren't updating the episodes week by week, The first episode has already been spoiled and I have to wait another month for it. Quote

It was a good one though. Even though I saw it on outdoor ch I'm thinking about getting the online version as it has a lot of the between the scenes stuff. Quote
