just picked up 2 rattlin rapala (RNR-4)  in silver and firetiger color. Never have used these but I am a huge fan of the rapala lures I usually do

great with most of there lures. Let me Know what you think about the product.

They are OK.

I prefer the Xcalibur One Knocker or Red Eye Shad when I'm fishing that type of bait but the Rapala will catch fish.

3/8 th oz is the perfect size shape. Haven't got a box to see the number u posted Best lipless bait ever made.( for high pressure fished areas) Blue/chrome.( changed to chrome shad or something. Didn't change the bite) Gold/black was great. But yea they have cought me a ton of fish that folks ran Trapps right over top of. The quieter sounding rattles will get you bit by the shy big girls. When ran at the right speed and depth that day. I've literally ran them so slow they had to be laying on there side on bottom. My Buddy stumbled onto it I'd switched to plastics and could not get bit. Bad conditions that day water temp drop. But they would pick them up. Crappie will hit them mid winter slow.

If you have the 1/2 oz model sell them to some one else. Lol. Nah they catch fish just not near as many.

I think they have quit making them as no ones stoking them anywhere. Replaced by the new fat body Style I think.

But there is something about them. One out of four will catch fish anywhere anytime and two will produce some fish and one you can throw at the worst looking brush pile you see and hope you loose it.

There's no visual difference in them. It has to be the rattle different in sound then the others.

We'll to much info most likely. But I no that brand very well used them 20 years suck to see them getting hard to find.

Shad color is also great.

Your silver will be alright it's a new color to me. Fire tiger. Very muddy water maybe.

I've never grapped  one before. Once I grabbed a Rat L Trap and the trebles were hell on my palm and fingers.

One of the few baits I've tried for a reasonable amount of time that failed to produce while other, similar lures were working well. I sold all mine and wouldn't buy another.

I think they are the most under rated lipless cranks ever made and I'll give you some pros and cons. I prefer other lipless baits but Insanity told you the best tip you could get, they are great for high pressured lakes, if you have good conditions and are in an area where a lipless crank should work and you can't seem to get a bite, take off the bait you have on a put a rattlin' rapala on and you will get bit. I believe the smaller profile and quieter sound often are key, these are great to cover water with in the post spawn period, when the fish are scattered and spooky, and I'll agree with others that there are better baits on the market but the rattlin rapala is a good bait under tough conditions like post spawn.
