so it's just started to get cold here in southern NH.  I'd like to get out on the water a couple more times before winter, but I've been having such terrible luck lately.   should i call it a season, or should I get after it a few more times this weekend?

You should go for it. I will be fishing the next three days. They tend to be a little deeper now in 15-40 feet along steep drop offs. Jigs, drop shot, blade baits and crankbaits.

well i guess i don't need too much arm twisting.  I'm gonna dress warm and see if I can catch one last lunker before the season is done for me.  will definitlley be using my arsenal of cranks.

have yet to land anything on a crank this fall.

To fish or not to fish? That is NEVER the question. Always fish! You'll get less bites, but if you find those bigger fish, you can slow it down and catch a hawg right now.

I agree, go for it. Your chances of catching something big are greater than at most other times.

If you dont fish you certainly wont catch.   go enjoy the outdoors and relax.
