Super User whitwolf Posted October 12, 2013 Super User Posted October 12, 2013 I hesitate to make this post as there were no big fish caught, or even much above keeper status but the last two mornings have been unreal. I have started each morning around 5:30 and been back at the house by 9:00 am. A short synopsis; I have caught 37 bass with the biggest only two lbs. They have been on the bank and eating and not one strike was there any doubt as to whether it was a fish. No taps, no heaviness, no line moving off, they were just crushing it and eating. I used a Senko,(first time) a R.I. smallie beaver, and a R.I. little dipper swimbait, with both the Senko and little dipper fished weightless and the beaver tx rigged with a 1/16th tungsten worm weight. I'm taking my fiance in the morning hoping they are still eating. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 13, 2013 Global Moderator Posted October 13, 2013 Some days it's nice to just catch fish regardless of size. Hopefully they keep cooperating for you and your fiance! Quote
Super User tomustang Posted October 13, 2013 Super User Posted October 13, 2013 I'll take a tight line regardless of size. Seems like it was a good enough day to repeat with the soon to be mrs! Quote
