Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted June 11, 2010 Super User Posted June 11, 2010 Yep, green pumpkin for me. PS: check the correct forum to post bait questions. If you scroll down, there is a tackle forum. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted June 11, 2010 Super User Posted June 11, 2010 Absolutely! I use them on a Tx Rig, with a Tungston weight, and dip the claws during the day in chart JJ's. Usually watermelon red, or black/blue at night. They're also pretty deadly worked weightless across grass flats or matted milfoil. Quote

I use chartreuse JJ's when it's around, but it's not a must for me. For colors, I like either watermelon red or junebug. Quote
Steven Ladner Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I've had great success using them at night lately, T-Rigged in shallow water Quote
rondef Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Love using them (watermelon red & candy craw) for flippin and pitchin. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 True, I do like them. You have to use the right hook. Nice slow fall. Black Blue and Water Melon Red Flake for me. At least you can catch a couple three fish on one bait. Pretty durable. Quote
Gamec0cks5 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 I like them a lot those and my smokin roosters have been producing pretty well for me recently. I agree with the color combos listed above. Quote
